These terms cover the use of the folioffice website and portal, operated by SYMAR, spol. s r.o., Vřesovická 429/3, Zličín, 155 21 Praha 5, Czech Republic (company ID 00196738, VAT ID CZ00196738). By signing in, or by opening a review link sent to you, you agree to them.

What folioffice is

folioffice is where an assignment is filed: contracts, timesheets, expense reports and the signatures that approve them. The work itself, the pay and the notice periods are governed by the contract between the contractor and the company that engages them. If that contract and these terms disagree, the contract applies.

Accounts

• Accounts are created by invitation. You cannot register yourself.
• Your account is personal. Do not share your password or let someone else sign in as you.
• Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
• We may suspend or close an account when an assignment ends or if these terms are broken.

What you enter

You are responsible for the hours, expenses and receipts you submit being true and complete. A manager who approves a report confirms that they have checked it and are authorised to approve it.

Electronic signatures

Documents in folioffice are signed electronically. When you sign, you agree that your electronic signature has the same effect as a signature on paper. To show who signed, we record the signer's name and email address, the time, the IP address and browser, and a fingerprint of the exact content that was signed. A review link and the one-time code sent with it are meant only for the person they were sent to. Do not forward them.

Fair use

• Do not try to reach data that is not yours or to get around the portal's security.
• Do not upload anything unlawful or harmful, or anything you have no right to share.
• Do not use automated tools against the portal without our written agreement.

Availability

We work to keep the portal available and the records in it safe, but we do not promise that it will run without interruption. We may take it offline briefly for maintenance.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect loss, or for loss caused by incorrect information entered by a user.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, and disputes about them are decided by the Czech courts. If you use the portal as a consumer, this does not take away protection that the law of your own country gives you and that cannot be set aside by agreement.
